Leslie Jones Back on Twitter Just 48 Hours After Quitting in ‘Tears’

Ghostbusters actress Leslie Jones is already back on Twitter after leaving the site two days ago.

Jones, who reported Breitbart Tech editor Milo Yiannopoulos to Twitter after he criticised the recent remake of Ghostbusters, provided Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey the chance to do something he’d long yearned for: permanently ban Milo from Twitter.

In light of her report and the abuse she had received from other users, something she tried to blame Milo for, the actress said she was leaving Twitter with “a very sad heart.”

I leave Twitter tonight with tears and a very sad heart. All this cause I did a movie. You can hate the movie but the shit I got today…wrong

Jack Dorsey consequently tweeted at Jones asking her to privately message him following the incident.

@Lesdoggg Hi Leslie, following, please DM me when you have a moment

Since to leave the site just 48 hours ago, Jones is now already back on, saying she needed to “live tweet Game of Thrones.”

@Lesdoggg Hi Leslie, following, please DM me when you have a moment

She also tweeted a GIF thanking her fans for the support she had received following the incident.

Thanks for the love and support I received! made me feel real special See you later on @sethmeyers#LoveForLeslieJpic.twitter.com/1SOU5QnhMQ

Despite having previously broken multiple Twitter policies concerning racism and harassment in the past, the official Twitter account welcomed Jones back with the hashtag #LoveforLeslieJ:
