Kellyanne Conway: We’re Living in Hillary’s Head Rent-Free
The Trump campaign is not too impressed with Hillary Clinton’s speech Thursday attacking Breitbart News and the “Alt Right.”
Clinton read some of Breitbart’s more colorful headlines in a personal attack on former Breitbart chairman and current Trump campaign chief Steve Bannon in Reno, Nevada. Clinton accused Trump of inciting and encouraging racism by his supporters. But Trump had already pre-empted her with a long address in New Hampshire telling his supporters what Clinton was going to say and declaring, “Shame on you.”
Trump campaign manager KellyAnne Conway was succinct and scathing in her official response:
Today proved to the American public what we have known all along – Hillary Clinton has no hope, no vision and no ideas for the future of our country. Clinton lied about her emails, she lied about Colin Powell, and today she lied about Donald Trump. Donald Trump is talking about issues; Hillary Clinton is talking about Donald Trump. Today, as she took a break from her Hillary-in-Hiding Tour, she missed another opportunity to talk about education, infrastructure, terrorism, healthcare, the economy and energy. We’re living in her head rent-free, and that must terrify the political insiders who want to keep things exactly the way they are.
“Hillary Clinton’s attempt to delete the single worst week of her political career isn’t going to work. Her admission that there’s a lot of smoke but no fire is a complete lie, and the American public’s response will be to do exactly as her campaign suggests: don’t vote for her,” Trump senior communications adviser Jason Miller said in a statement.
“Clinton’s attempt to blame Colin Powell for her illegal email server backfired, and there’s no way the Clintons could go from dead broke to making more $250 million since leaving office without breaking the law and trading off their access to office,” Miller said.
“This is exactly why we need a Special Prosecutor to investigate the blurring of lines between the Clinton State Department, the Clinton Foundation, and the Clinton’s personal bank account. It’s corruption and the rigged system in Washington at its worst, and it’s exactly why we need to vote for a change agent like Donald Trump,” Miller added.
Hillary Clinton's short speech is pandering to the worst instincts in our society. She should be ashamed of herself!
