US military parade originally scheduled for November is delayed to 2019, Pentagon says
The military parade President Trump requested for November has been pushed back to 2019, the Pentagon announced Thursday.
The event was originally scheduled to occur the day before Veterans Day, however it was moved to sometime next year, a spokesman for the Pentagon said in a statement.
"The Department of Defense and White House have been planning a parade to honor America's military veterans and commemorate the centennial of World War I," the statement said. "We originally targeted Nov. 10, 2018 for this event but have now agreed to explore opportunities in 2019."
