Rite Aid shareholders approve reverse stock split

Rite Aid shareholders have approved the company's reverse stock split, the company announced Thursday, a move aimed at keeping the drugstore chain's shares trading on New York Stock Exchange.

That number comes in higher than the expected range, valuing the iconic denim company at about $6.6 billion and bringing its total raise to about $623 million.

Kale joins the "Dirty Dozen" list this year. The list of fruits and vegetables with the most pesticide contamination also includes strawberries, spinach, nectarines, apples, grapes, peaches, cherries, pears, tomatoes, celery and potatoes.
